Amber Plastic Vessels
Amber vessels are used if light sensitive compounds are being tested.
Plastic vessels can be used in place of glass where appropriate though it must not interfere with the analysis by sorbing, leaching or reacting with the analyte.
Plastic vessels are very reproducible, reducing possible errors in paddle height and centering.
Plastic feet ensure the vessel can stand upright independently preventing a degree of damage. Nonetheless, plastic vessels are prone to scratching and cracking and need frequent replacement.
