The USP limit for wobble is ±2mm. If there is significant wobble it can have a significant effect of the dissolution rate.
Wobble is measured just above the paddle blade or on the bottom rim of the basket.

Minimising Wobble
Wobble can be kept to a minimum by handling baskets and shafts with care.
Shafts and Paddles should be kept in proper storage racks to minimise potential damage.
