The Validator provides a safe, reliable and foolproof method for satisfying FDA, GLP and ISO 9000 requirements for testing and validating chromatography data systems, integrators and chart recorders.
Many chromatography data systems and integrators have fully validated software which covers the integrity of the system and guarantees that the manufacturers write and test the software properly.
Unfortunately until now there was no way of reliably testing the A/D circuitry and other hardware which is essential for the accurate and reproducible performance of these systems.
The VALIDATOR generates high-resolution, pre-programmed chromatograms and square wave voltage signals:
• for TESTING and CALIBRATING data system Analogue-to-Digital converters for accuracy and reproducibility
• for VERIFYING and CERTIFYING data system software integration algorithms for consistent/reproducible area and height results
Each individual unit is delivered with a Certificate of Validation stating traceability to NIST standards which is your guarantee of accuracy. The tested signals are stored on an EPROM chip and can be replayed again and again with absolute reproducibility at the same or different speeds to fully test your systems at different levels.
Validator's EPROM provides 4 sets of signals
• Four standard built in signal patterns (see above)
• Precision, DC accurate pattern file that goes from 0 to 500,000 microvolts, back to baseline, then to 1,000,000 microvolts (1 volt)
• Six gaussian peaks, in an increasing height pattern
• Busy real-world chromatogram with many peaks and challenging patterns
• 100 peak square file that has 100 square wave peaks, each increasing in height, from near baseline to full scale. Ideal for checking data systems linearity
• Optional user provided signal pattern
• Very simple to operate
