9mm screw thread vials have a 9-425 GPI thread and are referred to by a number of names including HP twist-top and Target DP vials.
They are closed with 9mm screw caps and septa and can be used in most autosamplers that use 11mm crimp cap vials.
A standard, graduated write-on patch is provided for easy filling and identification.
Silanized glass vials are an excellent solution when protein absorption must be avoided. The silanization process deactivates charged SiOH sites on the glass surface, limiting the hydrophobic effect.
