X-Vials

Standard autosampler vials with permanent inserts

X-Vials are ideal for small samples having nominal volumes of less than 350µl. They have a conical-tubular insert permanently fused inside a standard 12x32mm autosampler vial. This makes the X-vials very robust and guarantees correct vertical alignment.

X-Vial Precision — for very small samples

For very small samples, consider the X-Vial Precision. These X-vials contain a precision drawn insert with a dead volume of just 5µl — ideal if you require total sample recovery or your autosampler uses a side port needle. What's more, the closure is an integral part of the insert thus eliminating any chance of sample evaporation.

X-Vials and X-Vial Precision are the standard 12x32mm size and so will work with most autosamplers. The base level is the same as a normal 2ml vial so you can quickly alter the sample depth without having to adjust your autosampler.

Remember to select caps and septa that match the closure of your vial.
