High capacity polymerically bonded Octadecyl (C18), endcapped.

C18 is the traditional material used for reverse phase chromatography. This is because a high carbon loading provides a greater resistance to pH and the highest degree of hydrophobicity.

Applications:

Isolation of hydrophobic compounds from solution. Compounds retained are non-polar to moderately polar in a polar matrix.
