High Pressure Gradient at Low Pressure Cost
The Q-Grad Pump provides high-pressure quaternary gradients for HPLC applications. Four high-performance pumps are packaged into a single cabinet and are controlled with PC-based software. The result is high-pressure gradient capability that is as economical as low pressure mixing systems.
Reliability and Simplicity:
The Q-Grad Pump uses a very efficient pulse damper mixer to ensure high performance gradients. A prime-purge valve and upper and lower pressure limits are also standard. All Q-Grad pumps carry a 3-year warranty.
Integrates into Automated Systems:
External synchronization from an injector or autosampler may be enabled through the pump control option using standard TTL or contact closures.
Two Methods of Control are Available:
- Stand-alone keypad (System Control Unit SCU-460)
- EZStart system control and data acquisition software controls of the Q-Grad pump, detectors, and autosampler.
Both have Run/Stop inputs and real-time pressure monitoring with upper and lower pressure limits. Each option is designed to be user friendly – you choose the interface that fits your needs.
Unmatched Gradient Performance:
High pressure mixing of solvents eliminates the common problem of solvent outgassing, pre-pump mixing volume, and differing solvent compressibilities associated with low pressure mixing.
Standard Pump Features:
- Self Flushing Pump Heads
- Prime-Purge Valve
- Pulse Damper for Reduced Pulsation
- Stainless Steel or PEEK Fluid Path
- Motor Stall Detector
- Spring Loaded Check Valves
Standard Pump Controls:
- RS-232 Serial COM Port (each pump)
- Run/stop Input (each pump) - 5 volt TTL type
- Real Time Pressure Reading
Typical Pump Gradient Percent Range:
- 0-100% in 0.1% increments
- Percents B, C, D programmable
- Percent A automatically adjusted
