PTFE offers excellent chemical resistance

PTFE syringe filters are perfect for the filtration of gaseous or organic solvent-based samples. The hydrophobic PTFE membrane provides broad chemical resistance and excellent temperature stability giving an extended sampling range. PTFE filters may also be used as a moisture barrier in venting applications.

If used with aqueous samples, the membrane usually requires pre-wetting (normally by using a small amount of alcohol).

• Housing: medical grade virgin polypropylene
• Retention volume: <7.5µl (4mm), <20µl (13mm), <50µl (25mm)
• Max. operating temp: 100°C
• Max. operating pressure: 75psi (4mm), 110psi (13mm), 110psi (25mm)
• Autoclave: sterilise by dry heat at 121°C for 15 mins
