SMI-LabHut shipped to 104 countries in 2011, a new record, as sales of its Cronus and LabHut chromatography consumables brands reached new levels along with the increasingly popular QLA dissolution accessories.

The increase in sales was partly due to the expansion of the Cronus brand into HPLC, SPE and GC columns, rounding further this range of products available, and partly due to markedly increased sales of lamps, vials and syringe filter products.

Labhut exports nearly 90% of its products and has enjoyed consistent growth year on year, necessitating a move to larger premises in late 2011.

2012 is forecast to see further growth with sales of LabHut's new Column Store HPLC Storage System increasing rapidly, and new variants on that product being introduced by the Spring time.
